So, y'all. I just signed up the for the new CVS CarePass program last week, and wanted to share my experience so far with y'all.... and, if I think it's worth the price or not!
First off, there are TWO options you can choose from to get your CarePass membership. There is an option for $5 per month OR you can opt to pay $48 upfront for an entire year (like paying $4 per month, or like saving $12 a year!). Of course, I chose to pay the $48 for the whole year!
Then, there are the fabulous perks... and I think they are just amazing. It almost seems too good to be true, but it's real y'all. You get a $10 promo reward (basically an ExtraBuck reward) every single month. So, for me, I am going to be getting a $10 reward every single month for a total of $120 in rewards per year. Y'all - that's like making money in a year after you factor in the cost of the membership and the amount of rewards you'll be getting back.
Okay, and then if that's not sweet enough already... one of my other absolute favorite perks of the CVS CarePass program is you get FREE 1-2 Day shipping on ANY order with no minimum purchase requirement! For me, that is a HUGE plus because sometimes, I wait until the last minute (no surprise there...). And, I will have ExtraBucks that are expiring that I need use up - and y'all. I don't know about you, but sometimes, I just don't want to leave the house and go use them up. But, then again, I have money that is going to expire. I know, the struggle is real.
So, the best part of getting the FREE shipping with no minimum is, I can spend my ExtraBucks that are going to expire online, and I can still do ExtraBuck deals and earn ExtraBucks BACK... without having to leave my home! That sounds like a dream come true for me!
With all that being said, what do I think about the CarePass program? Is it really worth the membership price? If you are like me and coupon at CVS on a regular basis (weekly or bi-weekly), I think it is most defintely worth it. However, on the flip side, if you only walk into CVS for last-minute items maybe once every few months, this might not be the thing for you.
Consider your needs, your schedule, your season of life before you opt in or decide to not opt in for a CVS CarePass membership! Do what is best for you after reading my thoughts!
So, What Do YOU Think? Is CVS CarePass Worth it for YOU?
